Cathedral View forms the northern phase of the wider regeneration masterplan known as Great Western Yard in Gloucester.

The site benefits from full planning consent for the delivery of 202 residential units, bringing forward a thoughtfully designed and sustainable community on a prominent brownfield site.

The approved scheme comprises three residential apartment blocks:

  • Block A: 43 apartments across five storeys
  • Block B: 125 apartments across four and five storeys
  • Block C: 34 apartments across four storeys

Alongside the apartments’ private outdoor amenity space, the development will also provide two well-designed local play areas accessible to all residents

Designed to support a variety of living needs, Cathedral View will include a range of housing tenures, with homes available for open market sale or as part of a professionally managed Build-to-Rent (BTR) offering.

A total of 33 car parking spaces will be provided (15 spaces allocated to Block A and 18 to Block B), reflecting the site’s highly sustainable location and supporting a shift towards more active and public transport use. Cycle parking and pedestrian connections will further encourage sustainable travel choices.
